Vital Energy Touch
Shiatsu sessions from Cornelia Grabner – a fully trained and qualified practitioner.
About Cornelia
My interest in Shiatsu was first sparked through the practice of the peaceful martial art Aikido.
My special areas of interest in my Shiatsu practice are conditions related to workplace cultures (such as mental exhaustion, burn-out, and carpal tunnel syndrome), and the energetics of sleep.
Please note that I do not practice regularly for the time being. For occasional appointments please contact me at vital.energy@myphone.coop
Shiatsu is a complementary and holistic therapy.
The practitioner works through different forms of respectful and gentle touch, through the holding and massaging of pressure points, through stretches and rotations and sometimes, movement exercises. Shiatsu supports the receiver in restoring internal balance, by harmonizing the energy flows in the body and resolving blockages.
I trained at the Shiatsu College Manchester, and graduated in December 2019. I completed a course as instructor of the Little Samurai programme, which introduces children to the basic of energetic and respectful Shiatsu touch.
Throughout 2020 I took courses with New Energy Work on online Shiatsu sessions, and with Suzanne Yates from Wellmother on those energy vessels in our body that are about the very deep-seated patterns of our personality and our relationship to the world.
Shiatsu can help with a wide range of conditions, including:
-
chronic pain
-
back & joint pain
-
insomnia
-
stress
-
fatigue
-
burn out & depletion
-
tinnitus
-
restlessness
-
